Empower Kids only focuses on college and career-connected pathways. Our programs are strategically aligned to high-demand pathways identified through Local Needs Assessments (LNAs), workforce trends, and regional economic priorities. Students build real-world skills, academic confidence, industry exposure, and professional competencies that support both college and career readiness and long-term socioeconomic mobility. The goal is not simply job placement. Pathways include: Business, Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship & Marketing; Healthcare, Biomedical Sciences & Healthcare Management; Computer Programming, Information Systems, App Development & Artificial Intelligence; Hospitality Administration & Management; and Digital Multimedia Media, Podcasting, Journalism & Television

Yes. Our programs are intentionally designed to increase engagement through hands-on learning, identity development, leadership opportunities and real-world application.

Yes. Depending on the pathway and district partnership, students may earn Empower Kids certificates of completion, workforce readiness credentials, portfolio-based recognitions, and preparation for industry-aligned certifications. Programs are designed to help students build tangible skills, real-world experience, and professional portfolios that strengthen college applications, internships, scholarships, and future employment opportunities. In select pathways, students may also have opportunities to pursue third-party industry credentials through approved partners in areas such as technology, business, healthcare, digital media, and hospitality. The goal is not simply participation. It is helping students leave with evidence of growth, capability, and career-connected learning.

Programs can operate during the school day, after school, on weekends, during summer programming, or through community-based partnerships. We build flexible delivery models around district needs.

Yes. Programs can be customized based on district priorities, labor market demand (from a district's Local Needs Assessment), staffing realities, student interests, scheduling constraints and available facilities.

Yes. A core part of our model is helping students build exposure to professionals, industries, and social networks that support long-term opportunity and economic mobility. Research shows social connectedness plays a major role in upward mobility outcomes.
